Of course we don't service bicycles from department stores. Nobody should. And they aint bicycles anyway. But if your bicycle is indeed a bicycle we promise we can make it work. The weirder, older, rustier and trustier the better.
But don't take our word for it. Stepmother Theresa says "Normal shops for normal bikes. Uptown Cycle for the freaks, the queens and the long lost treasure." Can't argue with that.
We also fix and appraise collectible toys and related antiques. You never know what you'll find at Uptown. It's weird.

THE GRAMMAR OF IT ALL
Early on Kurt from Shakespeare's rightly questioned Mike and I (I was then co-director of the fest) about the hyphen. First of all (I'm sure Kurt would agree), grammar was made up by the man to keep people down. But let's play their game. The idea is that each pedaler has her own journey; therefore Pedaler's Jamboree is singular possessive on purpose, not a 15-years-long grammar "error".
For a true grammar lesson, study some rap. Let's all have fun today at Pedaler's, pedalers.

Kevin and I both grew up meters from the COMO M.K.T. Spur. You get to know its surface as the weather and seasons change. While never too difficult to traverse, the insides of your bike might need a little hose-off after a few miles' coating of this special type of grime.
